Mrs. Friedman’s 2nd grade students from Van Etten Elementary School in New York gave a presentation on the State of New York. Each student presented fact about the state of New York. The Avon students were surprised to hear that New York and Ohio share the same state insect.
Mrs. Reichert’s played Kelly from the Regis and Kely show as she interviewed her students dress as the main characters of stories read by the students about their stories. The students highlighted the main points of the stories through questions asked by Kathy Lee AKA Mrs. Reichert. After the summary of the story the connecting site played the roll as the live studio audience and asked question about the story.
The students from both sites did a fantastic job!
