3rd graders talk about communities and enhance literacy with New York
Mrs. Karasevic’s 3rd grade class from Avon Heritage South connected to their partner school for Read Across America with a school in Ballston Lake New York.
The Avon Heritage South Students did a great PowerPoint presentation of our community and city and followed up with a reader’s theater presentation on Appelmanto Dreams. The students did a fantastic job reading and presenting our city.
Mrs. Woliner’s class from Francis Elementary School in Ballston Lake New York did a performance about their community and sang their school song. The followed the presentation with a reader’s theater presentation title Country Kid, City Kid which was loaded with props acting.
Great job students!
