Marianne Kaput finished her videoconference schedule with her best presentation yet! Students from Texas, Michigan, Wisconsin, Virginia and Ohio spent time with the staff at Palmer Station, Heath Space Cleveland and the Cleveland clinic to learn more about the Antarctic Bestiary and the role is could play in medical and sport science.
Heath Space Cleveland provided the students with a demonstration on how freezing points which was followed by a discussion on organ transplants with a surgeon from the Cleveland Clinic. The session was followed by Q & A with Marianne and the Palmer Staff with their day to day operations that event that occurred on their trips.
